Every calculator and EPUB tool on Author Desk is free and stays free. We are considering a paid option for authors who work on several books. It does not exist yet. If it sounds useful, leave your email below and we will write to you once, when it opens.
What stays free
- Every calculator and file tool on the site, with all of its settings.
- Copying results, printing and sharing a setup through its page address.
What Pro would add
- Saved book projects: keep a book’s trim size, page count, prices, ISBN count and royalty scenarios and come back to them on any device.
- PDF project report: a clean PDF of the costs, royalties and cover numbers for a book, to file or send.
- Batch mode for EPUB tools: check or edit the metadata of many EPUB files at once.
We will only build these if enough people ask for them, and we will not take payment until they work.
